"The SAS Audio Labs and SilverFi IC's are both over achievers and will embarrass cables 3-4 times their cost. Giant Killers without a doubt! Both cables are foremost musically additive. What makes them both so special are their ability to connect with the music by displaying a wide, dimensional, and realistic soundstage. Neither has an advantage in these special abilities.
The SilverFi IC's are more neutral with tight transparent macro and micro dynamics. The SAS IC's are a tad to the right of neutral with smooth and warm macro and micro dynamics. Neither suffers at all with dynamics.
The areas that I really enjoy about both of these cables are lateral plane extension, spacial placement of backstage, and a frontstage that isn't forward but rather an opening into the stage.
The details on the far ends of the stage often get left out on many cables I have tried, but not with these two cables. You hear details you weren't aware of. The width of stage are exceptional on both of these cables.

Audiojerry, Milwaukee, Audio Circle. Great AND affordable cables....... 01-02-06.
You can add me to the list of believers. I received two pairs from Steve to audition along with his upgraded 10A preamp, and I can't overstate how wonderful they sound.
I still think my Poiemas sound excellent. I'd characterize the Poiema as very high resolution, and dig deep to extract the most subtle details without harshness. I've had them for two years and have been very satisfied.
But Steve's cables are simply outstanding. Steve has stated that he is able to "customize" the cables to the system. I don't have any idea how, but they seem to be ideal in mine. They are the most balanced sounding cable I've used. Nothing seems emphasized, but everything sounds better.
I'd say Steve has hit a home run again. A fantastic preamp, and now a fantastic cable.

"Steve,
After about an additional 50 hours these cables are
getting close to what I remember the first set sounding
like.
Wow these take you for a ride.
They sound decent out of the box.
Then they get mushy, flat and dull sounding.
Then the life comes back with highs, detail and depth.
If I didn't hear it myself I wouldn't believe it!
Thanks again for a superior product.

"And dang Steve to heck. His interconnects are kickass, clearly stomping my own interconnects that I'd previously been quite happy with. I stole them from the Rave and won't give them back to Loanwolf until Wed."

"I just received the SAS 1/2 meter IC and I am more than pleased. With only an hour on them and determining the direction of them - these SAS IC's, to me, are the Clari-T of cables. On the Oscar Peterson Trio cd (FLAC?) I could follow the keys on the piano and this is on my single driver FT-1600 MKII's!
Detail and depth!
Gotta love it.

In the past it was easy for me to recommend cost no object IC's like the Bolder Summits and speaker cables like Ridge Street Audio.
In the more recent past it was easy to recommend what I consider great but affordable speaker cables in the Greg Straley Reality cables.
Up until today, I did not have a "realitively" inexpensive GREAT IC that I could recommend..that has now changed. SAS Audio Labs has a great IC that is $140/1M pair.
These are as good a sounding IC as any that I have heard in my system. They mate well with my Ridge Street speaker cables. These will be staying in my system.
Anyone can buy a great expensive wine, the trick is to find a great inexpensive one...my pappy used to say. I don't know if you find IC's at $140/1m pair inexpensive, but seeing as they are more than $100 less then the next cheapest I found I could live with, I do. http://www.sasaudiolabs.com/price1.htm " (See my "Specials Page" for $15.00 off, through 12-19-05.

These are on equal footing with the Bolder Summits, RSA, Straley, but cost much less then all of them.
These are now my recommended IC's to try before you spend mucho dinero on others.
