Welcome to SAS Audio Labs. I am really excited about the new 7A basic tube preamplifier. The 7A uses technology and knowledge gleaned over decades of experience. The 7A tube preamplifier will provide pure, emotional, unadulterated, lifelike accuracy as well as or even better than preamplifiers costing hundreds if not thousands of dollars more. It is that good. By the way, the tubes I use have approx 1/4th (-10 to -15db less) harmonic distortion than a nos 6sn7 or 5687 tube. This is from measuring, not figured from the generalized curves.
The 7A uses one volume control and a balance control (approx 4db of balance variation). 4th and 5th inputs and 2nd output jack can be added for $25.00 each and one or more inputs can be set for lower gain upon request and cost of resistors. HT bypassing and monitoring is also optional. One can also tube roll by simply removing the top cover. Choice of black or silver knobs.
