Every tube amplifier and tube preamplifier incorporates basic concepts; each of which have benefits and shortcomings in musical reproduction. Our goal is to improve on the weaknesses of these concepts and to produce better, more accurate music.
In these white papers, we shall discuss layout, wiring, soldering, power supplies, capacitors, resistors, hidden feedback, and their effect on music. We hope you come away thinking more about the importance of the component's entire design. Simply upgrading parts is important, and often helpful, but limited as the entire basic design philosophy must be considered if optimum sound is to be obtained.
Our goal is to improve the sonic accuracy over those of today and also of yesteryear.
